Picture: Built in 1729 by the renowned Irish philosopher Bishop George Berkeley. This architectural gem is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, restored and maintained by the Colonial Dames in the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. Open to visitors during the summer season.

Picture: Huge J-Boats Shamrock V and Endeavour race again off Newport. The restored America's Cup challengers sailed here in 1930 and 1934 in their quest for yachting's most prestigious trophy.
